It all began when a neighbor offered me my first ride on the back of her palomino Quarter Horse when I was 8 years old. That was the only time she ever took me for a ride and I'm sure she never knew the impact that it had on me. Horses were to become a big part of my life and to teach me many things about our relationship to God. My intent in writing Rosie and Scamper is to convey some of those lessons about God and horses to younger readers.

Rosie and Scamper is a wholesome book with a strong Christian message and old-fashioned values like respecting your elders and the importance of the love of family and friends.
